Details for Improving Monthly Income Streams
The Walton’s stock portfolio had multiple accounts with overlapping holdings and with allocations not in line with their stated goals. Their existing portfolio was mainly focused on capital growth with risk levels well beyond their stated desire for capital preservation and income generation. By consolidating the accounts and rebalancing the portfolio we were able to not only reduce their risk, but to increase their cash flow by over 50%.
The Walton’s real estate portfolio was operating as intended, however price adjustments for two of the properties had been long ignored, were well out of line with similar properties on the market and not producing competitive rental income. In addition, while the properties were owned by an LLC, the Walton’s were collecting the rent outside of the corporation and thus creating added personal risk as well as an increased tax burden and accounting complications. These issues were all addressed.
